PRIOR TO TWU: Played three seasons (2005-2007) at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas…appeared in 140 games for the Hilltoppers, starting 57…tallied 31 hits (six of them for extra bases) in 156 at bats for SEU…also scored 38 runs and knocked in 10 more…was successful on eight of her nine steal attempts...picked for the Dean’s List in all three of her years at SEU…also honored as a collegiate All-American scholar in 2005 and 2006.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner (2001-2004) at Hebron HS in Lewisville, Texas…a two-time All-District second team choice...also made first team All-District on two occasions...garnered All-Denton County distinction after her junior and senior seasons...won three HHS Offenseive Player of the Year awards and two HHS Defensive Player of the Year honors...served for two seasons as the Hawks team captain…a three-year (2002-2004) member of Who’s Who in High School Sports…also a member of the prestigious National Honor Society in high school…played club softball for Texas Blast and the Texas Playmakers.
PERSONAL: A Kinesiology major…the daughter of David Peiser and Debbie and Kelley Atkins…her uncle, Darren Hall, played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays in his 14-year major league career…enjoys drawing , music, bowling, golf, and being outside.
