Alejandro “Alex” Lozoya is in his second season as a student assistant coach for the Texas Woman’s University softball team.
Lozoya graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2006 with a liberal arts degree. He is currently taking course work and expects to get his masters degree in sports administration from TWU in the spring of 2008.
Lozoya is no stranger to collegiate softball. While at UT-Austin, he served as a student manager for four seasons (2003-06) on the Longhorns’ nationally acclaimed program. He also has three years of club coaching experience with the Austin (Texas) Storm team.
