2007: Caught 55 of the Pioneers’ 59 games as a freshman…made two other starts at third base…tied for the team lead with a .276 batting average by collecting 48 hits in 174 at bats…led TWU with 13 doubles and was second on the squad with 70 total bases…her 23 runs batted in tied her with shortstop Rachel Johnson for the second-most on the TWU roster…was third on the Pioneer team with three home runs and a .402 slugging percentage…her 15 multiple-hit games tied centerfielder Tiffanie Boone for the team lead…also tied with first baseman Shian Smitherman for the most multiple-RBI games (6) on the club…top single-game effort at the plate came in a 8-6 loss vs. Angelo State on March 24 when she went two for three with a home run, a double, and three runs batted in…registered a hit in six straight games from April 15-27…named the Lone Star Conference South Division Hitter of the Week for the week ending April 24, 2007…sound defensively with 240 putouts and 49 assists…also threw out 26 potential base stealers.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two softball letters (2005-06) at Tomball High School in Tomball, Texas...named to the 2005 All-District 17-5A second team after starting the entire season as the Cougars’ catcher...a member of the 9th place team at the 18 and under gold nationals in August of 2005...played for three club teams, Sudden Impact 18 and Under Gold and SK Hawks 16 and Under and 18 Under...graduated with a 3.70 GPA and was a four-year member of both the Tomball High School A&B honor roll and Red Cross Club.
PERSONAL: Undecided on her major…enjoys watching sporting events and hanging out with friends in her spare time...parents are Michael and Karen Frye.
