2006: Proved to be a reliable forward for the Pioneers...started 16 of TWU’s 19 games...finished second on the team with 3 goals and 7 points...her ten shots on goal were the fifth highest on the TWU roster...recorded the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win at East Cental on September 24...chosen for the 2006 Lone Star Conference All-Academic team.
2005: Hornisher recorded a goal and an assist in 19 games… scored in victory at Texas Wesleyan…notched assist in win over Eastern New Mexico…took 17 shots with nine on goal… named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2004: Hornisher was named all-Conference honorable mention...started 16 of 18 games...scored three goals including TWU’s lone goal in losses to Eastern New Mexico and St. Edward’s...had one assist in addition to goal in 3-2 win over Dallas Baptist.
2003: Redshirted after starting three games as a defender for the Pioneers during her freshman campaign.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year soccer letterwinner at Denton High School for head coach Iseed Khoury...played club soccer for the Hawks ‘85 Gold, Dallas Texans and West White ‘85 teams...helped DHS to a 2000 state championships runner-up finish and was named Broncos’ MVP and District Honorable Mention...earned another District Honorable Mention honors as a junior...voted captain in 2002 while helping lead Denton to another state championship...tabbed District Defensive MVP and made the UIL State All-Tournament team ...member of Who’s Who Among American High School Students, National Honor Roll and Principal’s Honor Roll for three years.
PERSONAL: Christine Nichole is the daughter of Becky and Joe Hornisher of Denton...born on May 2, 1985...a finance major.
