CRIBBES CHOSEN FOR LSC WOMEN’S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
 DENTON, Texas (November 5) – Texas Woman’s University defender Sue Cribbes was picked for the 2007 Lone Star Conference Women’s Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team.
Cribbes (pictured) scored the Pioneers’ only goal in their 1-1 tie versus Texas A&M University-Commerce last Thursday afternoon in the tourney quarterfinals. A&M-Commerce would go on to defeat TWU 5-4 in a penalty kick shootout to end the Pioneers’ season.
The goal for Cribbes, the Pioneers’ senior team captain, was her second of the year and the seventh of her career. She finished the season with two goals, 34 shots, and 17 shots on goal.
The All-Tournament selection was the second Lone Star Conference honor in the last week for Cribbes. On Thursday, November 1, she was also selected to the 2007 Lone Star Conference Women’s Soccer All-Conference second team.
West Texas A&M University upset the University of Central Oklahoma 2-1 on Sunday, November 4, to win the six-team postseason conference tournament and qualify for the 2007 NCAA Division II National Tournament.
