PIONEER SOCCER TO PLAY CHINA NATIONAL TEAM
 DENTON , Texas – Texas Woman’s University will conclude its spring soccer season with a game Tuesday against the China National “B” Team at the new Mean Green Soccer Complex (formerly the Liberty Christian School football stadium) on Bonnie Brae in Denton. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 p.m. and admission is free.
After the Pioneers’ game, the University of North Texas will conclude the doubleheader with a match against the “A” team at 8:00 p.m.
The scrimmage game is part of the 2006 Panda Cup International Tournament of Friendly Games. The two-week tournament includes 21 teams from three countries and four states competing at venues across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Participating in the event are some of the best collegiate squads such as TWU, UNT, Texas A&M University, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University and the University of Tulsa along with select teams from Sting Soccer Club, DFW Tornados Soccer Club, Southwest United Soccer Club, IMG Academy, Mississippi United and FC Texas Soccer Club.
