ORDER YOUR 2006 TWU ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME DVD TODAY!

DENTON , Texas – Take a walk down memory lane and purchase your own copy of the 2006 Texas Woman’s University Athletics Hall of Fame video presentation on DVD. Sale of the DVD is a limited time offer.

For the first time at a TWU Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony, taped interviews and old photos were put together in a special video presentation as the honorees were inducted.  Response to the presentation was overwhelming and many alums, family members, friends and supporters have expressed an interest in having a copy of their own.

The DVD contains all the taped interviews from the event on April 21. Each DVD is $5.50 and is available by pre-order only until August 14. An order form is available at www.twuathletics.com.

The Pioneers inducted four former TWU student-athletes and a former coach/administrator as the Class of 2006. The seventh class included: Paulette Burrhus (1965-69), multi-sport athlete in track & field, swimming, field hockey, volleyball, basketball, badminton and softball; Sylvia Longoria Rodriguez (1968-1972), track & field and cross country; Catherine Sellers (1971-75), track & field, cross country and softball; Sandra Souza (1973-78), track & field; and Dr. Ruth “Betsy” Tandy (1968-95), tennis and bowling coach and administrator. The inaugural class of six was inducted in 1994 and there are currently 29 members in the Hall of Fame.
