HIGH SCHOOL: Hickman will come to TWU from Parker, Colorado…graduated from Monte Vista On Line Academy in May 2006…competed for two club gymnastics teams while in high school, the Chatfield Competitive Gymnastics Team in 2002-03 and the Peak Athletics Plus Competitive Gymnastics Team from 2003-06…in 2002-03 she was named the Chatfield Team MVP and was a state, regional and Western National Qualifier…in 2003-04, she again qualified for state, region, and the Western National’s…at the 2004 regional meet, she finished third in the all-around, vault, and floor…at the 2004 Western National meet, she placed eleventh in the all-around competition…in 2004-05, once again qualified for the state and regional meets…last season, as a senior, she was a state and regional qualifier…at the 2006 state meet, she finished third in the floor exercise…served as the team captain for all three seasons she competed for Peak Athletics Plus.
PERSONAL: Majoring in English at TWU…the daughter of Jason and Christine Hickman…hobbies include reading, shopping, and listening to music…is active in the College Life group at Denton Bible Church.
