2006: Competed on beam in five meets for TWU during the 2006 season...Top score was a 9.25 at Oklahoma on 3/3/06...an MIC scholar and a USAG Scholar Athlete.
2005: Brenda Campbell missed the season as a medical redshirt.
2004: Despite a nagging back injury, Campbell competed in every meet for the Pioneers on balance beam...scored a personal best 9.85 on beam in a Feb. 28 meet, placing a close third behind two upperclassmen from the No. 24 BYU squad...a Scholastic All-Conference and National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women Scholastic All-America selection.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Ravenna High School...three-year qualifier for the Nebraska Level 10 State Championships...selected to the Level 10 Regional Team in 2002 and 2003...as a senior, she earned a state championship title on beam... finished third in the all-around, vault and floor exercise in the state of Nebraska in 2003...the previous year she also placed third in the State all-around, second on beam and fourth on the vault, bars and floor after battling back from an injury-plagued sophomore season...four-year letterwinner for Ravenna’s track team, qualifying for the state championships in pole vault each year...member of the National Honor Society, Honor Roll and Louplatte All-Academic Team.
PERSONAL: An elementary education major...the daughter of Mac and Janet Campbell…a member of the Regular Baptist Church and the Christian Youth Posse...enjoys being with friends and family, running, rollerblading and reading.
