TWU GYMNASTICS WILL HOST FUNDRAISING GOLF TOURNAMENT
DENTON, Texas (September 13) – The Texas Woman’s University Gymnastics team will host a fundraising golf tournament on Monday, October 8, 2007, at the Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch in Denton.
 The tournament, which will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, will be a four-person modified scramble. A hole-in-one on Hole 4 will win a lucky golfer a new automobile. Prizes will also be given away for closest to the hole (on Hole 7 and 11), longest putt made (on Hole 8), landing on the green (on Hole 12), the closest approach shot (on Hole 13), and the longest drive (on Hole 14). All golfers will also have the opportunity to win a wide array of raffle prizes.
Immediately following the conclusion of the tournament, there will be a complimentary lunch, an awards presentation, and a silent auction.
The registration fee for this golf event is $120.00 per player. The proceeds from this tournament will go to benefit TWU Gymnastics and the Friends of Achievers (the Achievers Gymnastics competitive girls team booster club).

The premier hole sponsors for this tournament will be Achievers Gymnastics, Groggy Dog, James Wood Auto Park, D&D Sports Med, Frenchy’s Lawn and Tree Service, the Denton Record-Chronicle, and Flooring America. Gold Medal, Silver Medal, and Bronze Medal sponsorship opportunities are still available for this charitable event.
