PIONEERS PUSH THEIR WAY UP TO 30TH IN THE RANKINGS
Current GymInfo Rankings
DENTON, Texas (February 20) - According to this week’s GymInfo national rankings of all NCAA Division I, II, and III college gymnastics teams, the Texas Woman’s University Pioneers are the 30th best team in the nation.
This week’s rankings are the first of the season based on Regional Qualifying Score (RQS). For collegiate women’s teams, an RQS is determined by averaging their six best regular season meet scores, of which three must be away.
Although several prominent teams have not yet competed enough to have an RQS, TWU head coach Frank Kudlac is pleased with his team’s current ranking.
“Our team has been getting better all season long,” said Kudlac. “I knew we would be up there in this week’s rankings. The challenge for us now is to keep improving, keep moving forward and try to stay amongst the nation’s best.”
For the sixth consecutive week, TWU is ranked first in the NCAA D-II rankings and the USA Gymnastics (USAG) college rankings. The Pioneers have also climbed into the top spot in this week’s Midwest Independent Conference (MIC) rankings.
Additionally, several Pioneer gymnasts remain in the top three of the individual event rankings for the USAG and MIC:

Saturday night’s meet will include live music from the Rivers West band. Rivers West will play for one-hour prior to and then between rotations of the meet.
