FREE IS THE THEME FOR THIS FRIDAY’S TWU GYMNASTICS INTRASQUAD MEET
 DENTON, Texas (December 5) - The annual TWU Gymnastics Intrasquad meet will be held this Friday, December 7, at 7:00 p.m. in Kitty Magee Arena.
Friday night’s meet can best be described in one word - free. Admission is free, the first 150 fans through the Magee Arena doors will receive a free TWU Gymnastics “Pioneer Proud” t-shirt, and free CiCi’s pizza will be given away to all fans while supplies last.
Additionally, Frank Kudlac, the veteran TWU gymnastics head coach, will be wearing a wireless microphone throughout the meet and be explaining basic gymnastics skills, fundamentals, and concepts to the fans while the meet is taking place.
Kudlac is looking forward to seeing his 2008 team compete on Friday night.
“I’m excited about this meet,” said Kudlac. “This will be the first time that this team has been together in a competition setting and I’m eager to see how they respond. Hopefully our fans and supporters will take advantage of this chance to come out and get a sneak preview of this year’s team.”
The Pioneer gymnastics team, winners of eight USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships, will open their 2008 season on Friday, January 4, at the Cancun Classic in Cancun, Mexico.
