 Sophomore Leslie Pladson (pictured) has been chosen as this week's TWU Gymnastics Pioneer of the Week (P.O.W.). Pladson, a native of West Fargo, North Dakota, is a product of the TNT Kid's Fitness Gymnastics Club. After contributing on beam and floor during the Pioneers' 2007 season, Pladson has shown in off-season workouts the potential for even bigger and better performances in 2008.
"LP is a competitor," said TWU head gymnastics coach Frank Kudlac. "She comes to the gym everyday and wants to prove to her teammates and coaches that they can count on her. I've been really excited by what I've seen from her so far this season."
