 Junior Amy Hulbert (pictured) has been chosen as this week's TWU Gymnastics Pioneer of the Week (P.O.W.). Hulbert is a native of Garland, Texas and trained at the Aerialworks Gymnastics Club.
Hulbert was selected by her teammates as the P.O.W. based on her consistent work ethic over the last week of practice. She is displaying a multitude of new high skill levels - most notably a double layout on floor and a new beam series. Her vault has improved as well and she is also working bars with the hopes of breaking into the Pioneers' bar lineup.
Additionally, as an upperclassmen, Hulbert is constantly offering advice to the rookies and cheering her teammates on. An education major, she is also working diligently in the classroom to maintain her excellent academic standing.
