 Senior Courtney Arno-Templet (pictured) has been chosen by her teammates as this week's TWU Gymnastics Pioneer of the Week (P.O.W.). Arno-Templet is a native of Coppell, Texas and trained at The Colony Gymnastics Academy.
Arno-Templet has enjoyed a remarkable season in this her fourth year in the Pioneers' program. She is averaging a TWU team-best 9.798 on bars and 9.700 on beam. As of March 10, she is ranked 1st in the USAG and 1st in MIC on both bars and beam. She is also the third ranked bar worker in the NCAA South Central region.
"I don't know how," said TWU head coach Frank Kudlac, "but Courtney has managed to raise her level of gymnastics even higher this season. She's obviously been phenomenal ever since she came to TWU, but, this year, she's been even better. It really has been remarkable to watch her develop."
