HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Burleson High School…Four-year letter winner (2002-2006) for the Elks…as a senior team captain in 2005-2006, she led her Burleson team in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals…was selected as the Elks 2005-2006 team MVP and named first team All-District 4-5A and first team All-Johnson County…in her junior campaign of 2004-2005, she played her way onto the first team All-District 4-5A and first team All-Johnson County by leading Burleson in free-throw shooting and rebounding…as a sophomore in 2003, she was selected to the All-District 4-5A second team…also earned varsity letters at Burleson in volleyball and cross country.
PERSONAL: Born on February 16, 1988…the daughter of Terry and Kim Gilbert…will major in psychology (pre-med) at TWU…hobbies include watching movies, cooking, dancing, scrapbooking, reading, and playing sand volleyball.
