2005-2006: Deweber played in 27 (and started 15) of the Pioneers 28 games…averaged 5.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game...her three point shooting percentage of 36.4 percent was the fourth highest on the TWU roster…totaled 21 steals, the fifth most for the Pioneers…recorded a season-high 14 points in the Pioneers 68-60 overtime win versus Eastern New Mexico (2/11/06)…totaled double-digit points in seven games…hit at least three three point field goals in three games…grabbed a season high 7 rebounds in TWU’s 65-51 win at Southwestern Oklahoma (2/28/06).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Bowie (TX) High School until transferring to Alvord (TX) High School for her senior season…lettered in basketball, volleyball, golf and track…as a senior, she scored 19 points a game in addition to seven assists, 4.8 steals and 5.6 rebounds…holds five school records including points (607), assists (220), steals (154), three-pointers (64) and scoring average (19) in a season…earned three tournament MVP awards in addition to all-state, all-region and district 16-A MVP honors…at Bowie, she was all-district first team and Newcomer of the Year…four-time all-district and two-time regional qualifier in golf…also a four-time academic all-district selection.
PERSONAL: Born March 27, 1987… the daughter of Don and Connie Deweber …majoring in kinesiology at TWU…her hobbies include hanging out with friends and watching movies.
