SANTA CLAUS WILL STOP AT PIONEER HALL ON THURSDAY NIGHT
 DENTON, Texas (Dec. 20) – This Thursday, Dec. 21, the Texas Woman’s University Pioneers basketball team will have a special guest on hand for their 7:00 p.m. home game against the Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas.
From 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., Santa Claus will be stationed in the main lobby of Pioneer Hall and will be ready to listen to last-minute Christmas wishes from both children and adults. All of Santa’s guests will receive free candy and a free Polaroid picture.
Thursday night’s game will be the 2006-07 Lone Star Conference South Division home opener for TWU. It will also be the second straight game for TWU (5-4, 1-0 in the LSC South) against Texas A&M-Kingsville (2-7, 0-1 in the LSC South). The Pioneers pounded the Javelinas 72-47 in Kingsville on Saturday, Dec. 16.
All TWU students, faculty and staff receive free admission to regular-season home basketball games with a valid TWU I.D. Adult general admission tickets are $4.00 and the (non-TWU) student and senior citizen admission price is $3.00.
