PIONEERS SCHEDULE 2008-09 MAROON AND WHITE LUNCHEONS

DENTON, Texas (August 18) – Do you want the inside scoop on Texas Woman’s University athletics? If so, make plans now to attend the 2008-09 Maroon and White Luncheons.

The monthly luncheons will be held at Outback Steakhouse in Denton (300 S. I-35 East) from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on the following Tuesday afternoons:

• August 26
• September 16
• October 21
• November 18
• January 20
• February 17
• March 24
• April 14

Each luncheon costs just $5.00 and will feature a TWU athletics-themed presentation as well as numerous Pioneer door prizes. Fans that bring a first-time luncheon guest will also be entered to win a premium prize giveaway.

“Our Maroon and White Luncheons are a great opportunity for people to enjoy a delicious meal from Outback Steakhouse and find out what’s going on with their favorite Pioneer team,” said Chalese Connors, TWU Director of Athletics. “Hopefully our fans will join us for these enjoyable functions.”
