WEATHER CANCELS FIRST PITCH TOURNAMENT
IRVING , Texas – The Lone Star Conference First Pitch Tournament has been cancelled due to the wet weather.
Just four games were completed on Friday before play was suspended. Texas Woman’s University was leading Southwestern Oklahoma State 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning when the tournament was halted. The game will not count because five or more complete innings were not played.
Next, the Pioneers are scheduled to host St. Mary’s on Feb. 27 for two games beginning at 5:00 p.m.
