2007: Started 41 games in her sophomore season, splitting time as an outfielder, catcher, and designated hitter…tallied 28 hits in 114 at bats for a .246 batting average…had one double, nine runs batted in, and scored five runs…had three multiple-hit games, two multiple-RBI games, and one five-game hitting streak (February 16-17)…enjoyed a strong defensive year, with a 1.000 fielding percentage on 25 chances, two assists, and 23 putouts…top performance of the season came on February 17 in a 6-5 loss to CSU-Monterey Bay when she had two hits and two runs batted in.
2006: Made a valuable contribution to the Pioneers in her freshman season...played in 48 games, starting 29...knocked out 34 base hits (nine of them for extra bases)...her six doubles were the third most on the TWU roster...drove in 19 runs, tied for third on the TWU team...slugging percentage of .439 was second amongst all Pioneers players...hit only home run of the season on April 8 at Eastern New Mexico...had a ten-game hitting streak from March 21-April 4, 2006.
HIGH SCHOOL: Brooks was a three-year letterwinner at Klein Collins High School…earned All-District 15-5A second team honors as a sophomore and senior…as a junior, she received honorable mention accolades…named to the Honor Roll three years…played club softball for the Cy-Fair Intruders Gold team.
PERSONAL: Majoring in Kinesiology with an emphasis in sports management…the daughter of Stacy and Pam Brooks...enjoys hunting, cooking, collecting sports memorabilia and reading, and is active in the American Legion Junior Auxiliary.
