Pioneer
Post 7 -- Week of Nov. 22, 2004
Hi!
My name is Erin MacNabb and I am a Senior on the Pioneer
gymnastics team. I am a kinesiology major who
will hopefully graduate in December of 2005 and am ready to
win TWU’s eighth USAG National Championship title with
the rest of my fellow teammates.
The Thanksgiving break was much deserved and enjoyed by the
group. We all spent quality time with our families, ‘families
away from home’ and friends. Some places our team traveled
for the holidays include; Nebraska, Oklahoma, Mississippi,
Missouri and Colorado. After four days off we returned to hard
work in the gym.
The team is preparing for our Intrasquad meet this Friday,
December 3 in Pioneer Hall at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is looking
great and this should be the best Intrasquad meet yet at TWU.
I am sure all the fans and alumni will be very impressed. Not
only will you see a difference gymnastically at Intrasquad,
but you will see a difference in the general atmosphere of
the team. It is absolutely awesome.
As the semester winds down, we are anxiously awaiting finals.
We have a week left of regular classes before finals week.
Following finals the team takes a small Christmas break and
then we are back in the gym for ‘two-a-days’ in
January.
