Pioneer Post 2 -- Week of Oct. 18,
2004
Hi,
I’m Jessica Brozovich and I’m a TWU senior gymnast,
writing to you in another Pioneer Post entry.
Well,
it has been an exciting week for all of us in the gym. Everyone
is working hard on their new skills
for the upcoming
season which, by the way, is going to be an amazing year. On
Thursday, Coach Kudlac gave the team wonderful news that we
can keep all 20 girls on the team. Everyone is very grateful
that coach made this happen. Also on Thursday we had our annual
TWU cookie night tradition. We didn’t eat as many this
year so there should be plenty left for our skit night.
The
Homecoming Parade for the University of North Texas was Saturday.
Denton is not only the home of
TWU, but another large
school, UNT. We ended up throwing out 100+ pounds of candy
and hand delivered stuffed animals to the little ones watching,
all thanks to Frenchy (a local businessman who annually sponsors
an entry in the parade).
That’s
it for this week. Next week should be just as exciting. All
I can say is we are keeping up the hard work….it
will pay off!
