FOLLOW TWU GYMNASTICS ONLINE
DENTON,
Texas – Beginning today, fans can follow the
Texas Woman’s University gymnastics team on the web at
www.twuathletics.com with a weekly journal called Pioneer Posts.
The
Pioneer Posts give a unique insight to the daily routines
of team members as well as a look into campus life. Each
week
one of the seven senior gymnasts
will write a journal chronicling their thoughts and opinions on the progress
of the team.
The
Pioneers compete as an independent in the Midwest Independent
Conference and the NCAA South Central
Region in gymnastics. Last season, they finished
second at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships. Head coach
Frank Kudlac returns with seven seniors, three juniors and 10 talented
underclassmen that should provide great balance for the 2005
campaign as TWU aims for an
eighth USAG Championship.
