HAWKINS NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT
 DENTON , Texas – Texas Woman’s University junior Robin Hawkins was chosen for the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI Volleyball College Division second team.
Hawkins is a marketing major with a 3.95 grade point average. The Flower Mound, Texas, native has recorded 21 double-double matches this season. She leads the team in kills and digs with 428 and 498, respectively.
To qualify for the ESPN Academic All-America team, athletes must have over a 3.20 cumulative GPA, be in their second year of competition at the institution and be a starter or key substitute. The teams are selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
