PIONEERS TO PLAY JAVELINAS IN POSTSEASON
 DENTON , Texas – The Texas Woman’s University volleyball team faces Texas A&M-Kingsville in the first round of the Lone Star Conference Tournament on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. hosted by Abilene Christian.
The Pioneers (16-18, 8-4) are making their third consecutive trip to the postseason tournament under head coach Shelly Barberee. TWU, the second seed in the North Division, defeated TAMUK in four games earlier this season. The winner advances to play ACU on Nov. 11 at 6:00 p.m.
West Texas A&M and Midwestern State play in the other first round match on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The victor plays the top seed from the North, Central Oklahoma, on Nov. 11 at 8:30 p.m. The championship game is set for 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 12 with the winner also earning an automatic berth into the NCAA Division II national tournament.
