MESSMER EARNS CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS
 DENTON , Texas – Texas Woman’s University senior Carley Messmer was named Lone Star Conference North Division Setter of the Week for her efforts in wins over Midwestern State and Southwestern Oklahoma.
Messmer averaged 12.14 assists per game as the Pioneers extended its winning streak to four matches. She also had 10 kills and 19 digs. This marks the fifth time that Messmer has been named LSC Setter of the Week in her career.
TWU plays Howard Payne tonight in non-conference action at 6:00 p.m. before hosting the LSC Crossover Tournament on Oct. 14-15.
