RUDY’S BAR-B-Q TO HOST SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER ON MARCH 22

DENTON, Texas – The Texas Woman’s University Athletics department welcomes all Pioneer fans to a special fundraiser on Wednesday, March 22, at Rudy’s Country Store & Bar-B-Q from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.

TWU needs 100 or more fans to participate in this fundraiser by identifying themselves as Pioneer supporters to the cashier when they place their order.  Rudy’s will then donate 10 percent of the net sales from those meals to the Pioneer Athletics Fund Drive.  Take-out orders and drive-thru orders count toward the goal of 100 participants as long as fans identify themselves as Pioneer supporters.  Rudy’s telephone number is (940) 484-RUDY.

Rudy’s, located in Denton at 520 South I-35 East, is a meat market that sells meats cooked in 100% wood fired oak pits.  They are also known for their famous “Sause” that is shipped across the country.  The Denton Rudy’s features a Pioneer Special on the menu – a jumbo smoked baked potato with choice of toppings and meat and a regular drink for $5.49.
