ATHLETICS FUNDRAISER AT GOOD EATS A WINNER

DENTON , Texas – Texas Woman’s University Athletics thanks everyone who made the scholarship fundraiser at Good Eats Grill in Denton on Monday evening a success.

There were 116 Pioneer fans that either ate in the restaurant or purchased take-out meals between 5-9 p.m.  Because TWU drew at least 100 participants, Good Eats will donate 10 percent of the evening’s sales to the Pioneer Athletics Fund Drive to benefit student-athlete scholarships.  Good Eats reported that the evening’s sales totaled $2,278.70 so the donation to scholarships is $227.87.

The next scholarship fundraiser is scheduled for Rudy’s Country Store & Bar-B-Q on March 22 from 5-9 p.m.  Rudy’s is located at 520 South I-35 East in Denton and features a drive-thru.  The store’s phone number is (940) 484-RUDY.
