BASKETBALL TIPS OFF AGAINST SOUTHERN NAZARENE
DENTON , Texas – Texas Woman’s University basketball tips off the 2005-06 season on Nov. 5 with an exhibition contest against Southern Nazarene at 2:00 p.m. in Magee Arena.
The Pioneers enter their first season under head coach Rene Hanebutt. TWU was 10-16 overall last year including a 3-11 Lone Star Conference record. The Crimson Storm, a NAIA opponent from Bethany, Okla., finished 28-7 last season.
Admission to the exhibition contests is free. TWU continues exhibition play on Nov. 12 against the Oklahoma Flyers at 2:00 p.m.
