SCHNEIDER EARNS ACADEMIC HONOR

Texas – Senior Rochelle Schneider of the Texas
Woman’s University volleyball team was named to the 2004
CoSIDA Academic All-District VI College Division first team.
The teams are selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors
of America (CoSIDA). All first team selections now advance for consideration
for the 2004 CoSIDA Academic All-America College Division volleyball team.
A defensive specialist for the Pioneers, Schneider maintains a perfect 4.0
grade-point average in accounting. Schneider has played in 118 games for TWU
this season with 27 service aces and 287 digs. She averages 2.43 digs per game
for the Pioneers.
Schneider was a member of the 2003-04 Pioneer volleyball squad that received
the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award by maintaining
a 3.30 cumulative GPA. In addition, she is a member of 2004 TWU Dean’s
List and has been named to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities
and Colleges.
