PLAYERS NAMED TO COMMISSIONER’S HONOR ROLL
DENTON,
Texas – The Lone Star Conference announced the
2004 academic awards for soccer and Breann Morris, Melissa
Williams and Nicole Godlewski were named to the Commissioner’s
Honor Roll.
To be eligible for LSC academic honors, student-athletes must carry at least
a 3.20 grade point average with a minimum of 24 semester hours completed at
the nominating institution.
Morris was also named to the all-conference honorable mention team for her
athletic accomplishments this season. As the center midfielder for TWU, she
led the offense with key distributions and was a staunch defender as well.
The junior started all 19 games for the Pioneers.
Williams started 10 of the 19 games for TWU with one goal and one assist. In
the Pioneers’ 3-1 victory over Texas Wesleyan, she headed in a goal off
a corner kick.
Godlewski, who was a strong defensive player, participated in 17 games for
the Pioneers.
