Scholarships
The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Texas Woman's University has
several scholarship opportunities. Each of these requires a major in computer
science or mathematics. The specific eligibility requirements for WIN are detailed below.

Women in Engineering (WIN) Scholarships

Entering freshmen must have a minimum of 27 ACT or 1160 SAT or 600 SAT MATH
Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors must have a minimum of 3.30/4.00 GPA. There are awards
still available for
the coming year. Award amounts will be at least $3,000 per year and are renewable for up to three
additional years.
- Recipient must be Female
- Recipient must plan to
-
obtain a degree in either mathematics or computer science from Texas Woman's University;
-
participate in summer internship programs
or research program when available for a minimum of one year; and
-
attend graduate school at Texas Tech University with a major in
electrical engineering.
