Internships
General
Information:
Students may earn
up to twelve hours of academic credit through internships, six
of which may be applied to one's major. The other six
hours may be used as electives. With departmental
approval, students may arrange their own internships or be
considered for one of the following sites. Interns may
receive compensation, but many of the positions available
through the department are uncompensated.
In order to
receive three credit hours, students must work 120 hours during
the semester; for six credit hours, 240 hours.
