Legal Studies Certificate Program

Thinking about law school? Considering a career transition to the legal assistant profession? TWU has approved a new Legal Studies certificate program that can be completed by taking 18 hours of law course in an evening weekend format. Students will get a strong foundation in the core legal subjects of Legal Research, Civil Litigation and Trial Practice, Constitutional Law, and the Legal environment. Additional electives that may be taken include Employment Law, Real Estate Law, Family Law, Environmental Law, Law for Women, History of Law and Justice, Estate Planning and Probate, Criminal Evidence and Procedure, and a Legal Studies Internship.
