Minors in English or Spanish
The English, Speech &
Foreign Languages Department at TWU offers minors in either English
or Spanish. The guidelines for each are outlined below.
Minor in English
For a minor in English,
the following guidelines apply:

All coursework
applied toward a minor in English must be completed with a 'C'
or higher.

For a minor in
English, a student will complete at least 12 hours of coursework
beyond the two first year compositions courses that are part of
the university's core curriculum.

Of the 12 hours
required beyond first year composition, at least 6 must be in
advanced courses (upper level).

Of the required 6
hours in advanced coursework, at least 3 must be completed at
TWU.
Minor in Spanish
All coursework applied
toward a minor in Spanish must be completed with a 'C' or higher.
