Practice. To be taken concurrently with FR 1013. One lecture and
one laboratory hour a week. Credit: One hour.
FR 1013. Elementary French. (FREN
1311) For students with no previous instruction in French. A student
who presents two admission units in French should enroll in French
4913. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three hours.
FR 1021. Audio-Lingual Practice. Continuation of FR 1011. To
be taken concurrently with FR 1023. Prerequisite: FR 1013. One
lecture and one laboratory hour a week. Credit: One hour.
FR 1023. Elementary French. (FREN 1312) Continuation of FR
1013. Prerequisite: FR 1013. Three lecture hours a week. Credit:
Three hours.
FR 4911. Independent Study. For students in whose program
there is a need for foreign language study not available to them
otherwise because of timing or schedule difficulties. One lecture
hour and one laboratory hour a week. Credit: One hour.
FR 4913. Independent Study. Selected topics in French
language and literature. Three lecture hours a week. Credit: Three
hours.
