The schedule for the 2006 Meeting-in-Miniature of the DFW Section of the American Chemical Society includes registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the MCL Lobby, parallel technical sessions from 9:30 - 5:00 p.m. on the fifth floor of MCL, and an awards dinner. 

Abstracts for presentations should be written using the ACS format as noted in the ACS Style Guide: A Manual for Authors and Editors, and submitted as a Microsoft Word document (we cannot guarantee that any other format can be properly translated) by email only to acs@twu.edu .  Abstracts should be submitted no later than April 12, 2006.

Awards for the top three graduate student papers/presentations, and for the top three undergraduate student papers/presentations will be presented at an awards dinner, and students are encouraged to attend the Awards festivities.

The Awards Dinner will be a fajita buffet held at 6:00 PM at El Guapo's, 419 S. Elm St. in Denton.  The cost will be $13.00 per person.  Dinner tickets should be reserved via email (acs@twu.edu) along with pre-registration for the meeting.  Awards Dinner tickets may be purchased at registration.

A box lunch will be made available to meeting attendees by members of the TWU student chapter of Iota Sigma Pi, and will be available for $5.00.  Tickets may  be reserved with pre-registration, or purchased at registration.
