After completion of the University requirements and prerequisites, the fourth year of Medical Tecnology is a hospital based program which requires a separate application to a specific clinic for completion of the training. To be awarded the B.S. degree from TWU, the student must train in a clinical program (Hospital) which works through a contractual agreement with TWU.

A certified Medical Technologist - MT(ASCP) - will have completed a Bachelor's Degree and have passed the National Registry Examination which is taken at the end of the 12 months of clinical training.

In the last 10 years, 100% of the Medical Technology students who have completed their class work at TWU and clinical training, have successfully completed their certification as a medical technologist - MT(ASCP).
