Science Fair: Awards & Past Winners

All participants will receive a certificate of participation as well as a ribbon placing their project as Outstanding, Excellent, Commendable, or Honorable Mention.  There are also trophy winners for the best project in each grade, as well as division winners (K-3, 4-6, and 7-9).

Group projects will be judged only against other group projects and there will be group division winners for K-3 and 4-6; 7-9 only submits individual projects in the Science Fair.

Categories of Awards

• 1^st, 2^nd place trophy per grade for “Best in Grade” will be given (K-9).
• One project per division will be chosen for “Best in Class” - 1 Lower Elementary Division (K-3), 1 Upper Elementary Division (4-6), and 1 Junior Division (7-9)
• “Best Group” Division – 1 Lower Elementary Division (K-3), 1 Upper Elementary Division (4-6)
• Each student (K-9) will receive a ribbon placing their project as Outstanding, Excellent, Commendable, or Honorable Mention.
