Texas Woman's University, College of Arts and Sciences has hosted a "Math and Science" day for Girls Incorporated of Metropolitian Dallas.  Approximately 45 young women from grades ninth - 12th attended in 2007.  Girls Incorporated® of Metropolitan Dallas is a nonprofit agency whose mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold by empowering girls to take charge of their lives. Girls Inc. has served Dallas for 39 years and has six centers in Dallas’ most economically challenged neighborhoods. A variety of programs at the centers prepare girls to be self-sufficient, responsible members of the community. Texas Woman's University is pleased to be a partner in helping to secure success for the next generation.
