Expanding Your Horizons in Science and Mathematics™  is a biennial event funded by the Denton Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) that brought more than 400 girls to the TWU campus in February 2008 to learn about opportunities in mathematics and science.  The conference is designed to nurture girls' interest in science and math courses and encourage them to consider STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) career options.
