Free use of books, media, electric stapler, hole puncher, pencil sharpener, paper cutter, headphones, and media preview/study areas are available plus a photocopier at a nominal charge. Two media viewing rooms have video, DVD, audio internet connected PC's and are wireless capable, accommodating one to eight students. The ARC provides library services of workshops, in-classroom, and one-on-one training on library internet and in-person research and resources to all TWU Houston students, faculty and staff. In addition, the ARC staff assists Houston faculty and students to obtain their TMC library card, guides faculty, staff and students to obtaining a TexShare card that allows direct borrowing privileges at hundreds of Texas public and other research libraries including Rice University, the University of Houston, and others.
