Chancellor's Alumni Excellence Award

The Chancellor's Alumni Excellence Award, which may be given up to twice a year, recognizes TWU graduates for exceptional accomplishment in a career field and/or public service.  Recipients are honored permanently on a recognition wall in the foyer of Hubbard Hall on the TWU-Denton campus.  Selection for the award is determined by a committee of university faculty, administrators, alumni, and students.  Honorees for this award are invited to one of the TWU campus locations within a year of their selection to share their expertise and experiences with faculty and students.

TWU Distinguished Alumni Award

The Distinguished Alumni Award is awarded each year to as many as three individuals who have brought honor and distinction to their alma mater through their asscomplishments.

How to Nominate

The nominator will be responsible for providing:

• Nomination Form (pdf)
• A cover letter nominating the graduate to be honored, with particular attention to the selection criteria
• A vitae or professional resume of the nominee
• 3 support letters from others for the nominee 

Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges

TWU's longest standing tradition of recognizing academic excellence and campus involvement is the Who's Who nomination.  Since 1934, TWU has put forth the names of its campus leaders and excellent scholars for selection by Who's Who.  On this site, we recognize the students who were recently selected as well as all alumni who received this prestigious designation over the past decades.

Student honorees will be recognized in front of family, friends, faculty and alumni on May 3, 2012 at Hubbard Hall on the Denton campus.
