On April 20, the Office of Alumni Relations in collaboration with the School of the Arts, Drama Program, presented the inaugural Alumni and the Arts event – Brunch and a Matinee.  Those who attended were treated to a brunch in the west end of the Redbud Theatre, a talk by the guest director, TWU alumnus, Dennis Sloan and costumer, Audrey Lewis.   The group then enjoyed the TWU matinee production of Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler.  In attendance at the brunch was Mariella Mitchell Cornell who played the leading role in a 1957 TWU production of Hedda Gabler.
