General Guidelines

Students are encouraged to apply at any time.  However, to ensure timely processing and advising, we recommend applying 6-8 weeks before the beginning of classes. Please keep in mind that there are separate Scholarship and Financial Aid deadlines.

Freshman and Transfer Application Deadlines: College, School, or Program 

• Fall Semester

  
  
  • Nursing:  February 1 - Nursing Application Due (upper division)
  • Dental Hygiene:
    • December 1 - Complete TWU Application process
    • January 9 - Dental Hygiene Application Due

• Spring Semester

  
  
  • Nursing:  September 1 - Nursing Application Due (upper division)

All support documents necessary for satisfying admissions requirements should be received before the application deadline in order to ensure a timely decision.

International Application Deadlines

Summer:

• New F1 visa student from outside U.S.:
  • February 1st - ApplyTexas admissions application deadline
  • April 1st - Deadline for submission of all immigration documents
• F1 visa student coming from another school within the U.S.:
  • March 1st - ApplyTexas admissions application deadline
  • May 1st - Deadline for submission of all imigration documents

Fall:

• New F1 visa student from outside U.S.:
  • March 1st - ApplyTexas admissions application deadline
  • May 1st - Deadline for submission of all immigration documents
• F1 visa student coming from another school within the U.S.:
  • May 1st - ApplyTexas admissions application deadline
  • July 1st - Deadline for submission of all imigration documents

Spring:

• New F1 visa student from outside U.S.:
  • July 1st - ApplyTexas admissions application deadline
  • October 1st - Deadline for submission of all imigration documents
• F1 visa student coming from another school within the U.S.:
  • October 1st - ApplyTexas admissions application deadline
  • December 1st - Deadline for submission of all imigration documents
