T.W.U.'s Chancellor on the Move Dr. Ann Stuart …hosted a breakfast at the Capitol Building in Austin for members of the Texas Legislature, including State Rep. and former Speaker of the House James E. "Pete" Laney.

T.W.U.'s Chancellor on the Move Dr. Ann Stuart …viewed some of the winning entries in the seventh annual Edible Car contest, sponsored by the TWU Science and Mathematics Center for Women. Teams of TWU, middle and high school students designed cars that were built of food items edible to humans and were able to roll down an incline without falling apart. The winners received cash prizes totaling $600.
