January 8		Academic advising for returning students begins 1 p.m.
January 9		Refunds to TWUOne account (estimated date)
January 10		Residence halls open in Denton, 1:30 p.m.
January 11		New Freshman and Transfer Student Orientation
		Last day to register, add a class without late fee
		Last day to pay and hold schedule for regular registration
January 12		Last day to withdraw and receive full refund (less $15 matriculation fee)
		Payment deadline: 5 p.m.  Schedules are deleted if payment has not been received.  ACH refunds from HigherOne (estimated date)
		Paper check refunds mailed from HigherOne (estimated date)
January 15		Martin Luther King Day - Holiday (no classes).
January 16		Classes begin.  Late registration begins.
January 19		Late registration ends.
		Last day to file for final semester thesis/dissertation rates in the Graduate  School (Code 3).
		Census Day.
January 31		Last day to apply for graduation for May degree candidates, and August candidates participating in the May Ceremony (Application available on web site).
		Last day to drop class and receive refund (Official census day) Drops without refund permitted until March 29
FEBRUARY 2007
February 22		Tuition and fees and housing/meals installment payment.
		Last day to drop class without academic penalty.
MARCH 2007
March 1		Financial aid priority deadline for Summer 2007.
		General scholarship application deadline for 2007-08 year.
March 5		Begin academic advising for Maymester, Summer and Fall 2007.
March 16		Unsatisfactory Progress Reports due.
March 17		Residence halls close in Denton, 10 a.m.
March 19		Spring holiday begins.
March 25		Residence halls reopen in Denton, 1:30 p.m.
March 26		Classes resume.
March 29		Last day to drop a class or withdraw from the University. Final installment payments due for tuition/fees and housing/meals
APRIL 2007
April 1		Financial aid priority deadline for Fall 2007/Spring 2008
April 2		Registration begins for Maymester, Summer, and Fall 2007
April 13		Last day to file theses, dissertations, and other required documents for graduate students graduating in May 2007.
MAY 2007
May 4		Last day of classes
May 5		Final examinations begin.

May 12		Denton Commencement
