Italian Night dinner, auction set Nov. 11 at TWU

DENTON — A taste of Italy comes to Texas Woman’s University on Tuesday, Nov. 11 as Delta Phi Delta, the art honor society at TWU, hosts the 25th annual Italian Night dinner and silent art auction.
The dinner and auction will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the TWU Visual Arts Building, located on the south end of Pioneer Circle at Oakland Avenue. Tickets, which are available at the door, are $8 for general admission and $5 for students, faculty and seniors. Children ages 5 and younger are admitted free. Proceeds from the all-you-can-eat dinner will go toward scholarships for art students.
Those attending the event also may view the Annual Juried Alliance Art Show on display in the East Gallery through Nov. 14. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call 940-898-2530.
