As the 2002 Fall Term begins, we are engaged in all the rites of
the season: welcoming students and faculty back to our campuses, celebrating a
significant increase in enrollment, and preparing to welcome the 20-member
Reaffirmation Committee from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern
Association of Colleges and Schools. All segments of our University community on
our campuses in Denton, Dallas, and Houston look forward to sharing with our
colleagues from sister institutions in the Southern Association the many ways in
which Texas Woman's University is fulfilling its ambitious mission.
Our goal is to make all appropriate arrangements so that the
Visiting Committee can perform its work as efficiently and effectively as
possible in a collegial and comfortable atmosphere.
TWU does not play football; Texas boasts no autumn foliage; for us, the sure (and only) sign of
Fall’s arrival will be the visit of the Reaffirmation Committee on November
18-21. We’ll be ready! |
